Refund Policy

Last updated November 1, 2026

Curiami’s paid plans are sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle, which processes refunds. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

When you get a refund

  • Your first payment, if you ask within 14 days of it and haven’t asked a question on the paid plan since paying: in full.
  • Charged twice, or unable to use Curiami because of a fault on our side: in full, whenever it happened.
  • If we shut Curiami down, the unused part of any paid period.

When you don’t

  • After you’ve asked a question on a paid plan, that payment isn’t refundable: what it bought has started to be used. You can still cancel, and you won’t be charged again.
  • Renewals. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid one; your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

When a payment is refunded

Asking pauses as soon as a refund is requested, while Paddle reviews it. Once it’s approved, your plan ends right away and you won’t be charged again; if it’s turned down, asking resumes. The same goes for a refund Paddle makes directly. Disputing a charge with your bank (a chargeback) also ends the plan.

In the EU and the UK

You have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. At checkout you’re asked to start using your plan at once and to agree that this right ends once you do, which is when you first ask a question. Until then, it stays.

Where the law where you live gives you more rights than this policy, those rights apply.
